Since 2007, Matt and his team have received numerous awards and successfully produced over 500 educational videos and 25 documentary films for a wide variety of clients across Canada and around the world.
Matt was thrilled to receive the 2016 Rising Star Award at the Canada International Film Festival in Vancouver and the 2011 & 2013 Award of Excellence in Film making at the Canada International Film Festival for his films Great River and Native Young. The films explore a variety of social issues impacting First Nations communities across Canada. LeMay Media also received the 2013 Social Media Marketing Award from the Economic Developers Council of Ontario.
Matt is a dynamic public speaker and effective leader who has assisted numerous organizations, municipalities, and businesses with developing effective communication strategies. Matt is passionate about film making and exploring his Métis heritage. Matt is a Citizen of the Métis Nation of Ontario and his root ancestors are the Clermont Dusome family that originally hail from the Red River region of Manitoba, later settling in Penetanguishene Ontario. Matt currently lives in the Ottawa Valley with his wife Jennifer and his daughters Ella and Noa.
Shauna Kennedy - is a multimedia professional with over a decade of experience in media production. Her work as video editor and motion graphics specialist includes work on documentaries, short and feature dramas, corporate and tourism videos. Shauna's motion graphics work includes historic photo animation and enhancement, titling, subtitling, map animation and animated informational graphics. Shauna has a solid understanding of the design and media process which is backed by her academic achievements at the Alberta College of Art and Design (B.F.A.), and Concordia University (M.F.A. specializing in video and multi-media production.)
